We’re the Fraustos.
Frank, Tori and our four children - Hudson, Zachary, Nate and Amalia.
After several years in American church ministry, we began to realize a growing burden within us to reach others for Christ overseas. We believe that God planted this desire in our hearts when Tori and I took a short-term missions’ trip to visit South African missionaries our previous church supported. After that initial trip in 2020, the Lord began to draw our thoughts and prayers to the people of Knysna, South Africa, so we spent a year and a half of our lives praying, reading, talking and researching the possibility of serving there full time. In July 2021, we set out on our second trip to the African continent, a genuine survey trip, and pleaded with God to direct us. As a result of His direction, we answered the call and moved to South Africa in September 2023. We are now serving the Lord, through the power of His Spirit, to help people become disciples of Christ, plant churches that are founded on and obedient to Scripture and help bring both physical and spiritual aid to children and their families.
Knysna
Our Ministry Field
Knysna (pronounced “Nice-nah”) is a town of over 96,000 people located in the Western Cape province of South Africa. Situated along the "Garden Route," Knysna is known as a holiday destination, yet its beautiful landscape and affluent neighborhoods can act as an illusion of widespread life and health. Not far from the wealthy homes lay miles of poverty and struggle, and even among the wealthy there exists spiritual confusion and deadness. While Christianity is recognized in the area, it is largely represented by charismatics, dead liturgical traditions, cults, prosperity gospel teachers and the mingling of Christian elements with tribal animism and ancestral worship. Our prayer is that God would use us to proclaim the gospel with clarity and accuracy.
We look forward to serving the people of Knysna as a part of the Knysna Hope team. Knysna Hope is a small collaborative group of missionaries that works in pairs to plant independent churches and as a team to assist one another in evangelistic community outreach, accountability and encouragement.
Our Background
Tori and I were blessed with biblical and educational training from a Christian university. Tori’s undergraduate degree was in Special Education as was her Master’s degree from Clemson University. I graduated with a Bible degree and then went on to obtain a Master of Ministry degree from seminary. Since 2002, I have previously served as a Youth Pastor in Washington State, Pastoral Assistant in North Carolina and an Assistant Pastor in Pennsylvania.

We are grateful to be sent out of Trinity Baptist Church in Westfield, IN, pastored by Daniel Minton (who was also a missionary in South Africa years ago). We are so grateful to the Trinity church body for their guidance, accountability, prayer & financial support!
MISSION BOARD
IBM Global serves as our mission board both while completing pre-field ministry & once on the field. They seek to serve our sending church, as well as other partnering churches & individuals, by providing financial, logistical and administrative help to us.
